These Terms of Use govern access to and use of CBET Master, including the public website, QAB tenant portals, login pages, dashboards, reports, certificate verification features, support channels and related services.
CBET Master is developed, operated and supported by ABNO Softwares International Ltd.
By accessing or using CBET Master, you agree to these Terms of Use.
CBET Master is a digital assessment management platform designed to support Qualification Awarding Bodies, QAIs, institutions and authorized users in managing CBET assessment workflows.
CBET Master supports functions such as:
EduBridge is the trainee-facing platform that supports ePOE, assessment readiness, evidence submission and guided assessment registration workflows where enabled.
These Terms apply to:
Different user roles may have different levels of access.
Where a QAB, QAI or institution has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, agreement, Data Protection Addendum, service schedule or other written arrangement with ABNO, that agreement will apply in addition to these Terms.
Where there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement between ABNO and a QAB, QAI or institution, the signed written agreement shall prevail for that QAB, QAI or institution.
These Terms are intended to govern general platform access and use.
By using CBET Master, you confirm that:

Each QAB may receive its own CBET Master tenant portal.

Each tenant portal is intended for use by the relevant QAB, its authorized institutions and approved users.
Users should only access the tenant portal assigned to their QAB or institution.
No QAB, institution or user may attempt to access another QAB’s tenant, data, users, reports, records or configuration.
The public CBET Master website may be used to:
Submitting a website form does not automatically create a QAB tenant, user account, MoU or contractual relationship.
ABNO may review submitted requests before responding or taking action.
Users may access CBET Master through:
Users are responsible for keeping login details confidential.
You must not:
ABNO or the relevant QAB may suspend, deactivate or restrict accounts where misuse, security risk or unauthorized access is suspected.
CBET Master uses role-based access.
Users only receive access based on their approved role.
Possible roles may include:
Sensitive settings should only be accessed by authorized users.
Not every member of a CBET Digital Assessment Committee should receive full system administration access.
Certain areas of CBET Master are sensitive and may be restricted.
These include:
Unauthorized changes to sensitive settings are prohibited.
ABNO may log and audit sensitive actions.
Major changes may require internal approval, written authorization or maker-checker controls where enabled.
CBET Master may only be used for legitimate CBET assessment, institutional, reporting, administrative, support, certification and related platform purposes.
Authorized use may include:
Users must act honestly, responsibly and within their assigned authority.
You must not use CBET Master to:
ABNO may suspend or restrict access where prohibited use is suspected.
CBET Master respects assessment mandates.
TVET CDACC-assessed programmes follow the TVET CDACC pathway.
QAB or QAI-assessed programmes may be managed through CBET Master where the QAB is authorized to assess and certify those programmes.
EduBridge supports the trainee-facing journey through ePOE, evidence readiness and guided registration workflows where enabled.
CBET Master does not replace the mandate of any regulator.
Each QAB, QAI or institution using CBET Master is responsible for:
ABNO may support configuration, hosting, maintenance, integration and technical operation, but the QAB or institution remains responsible for its official institutional and assessment decisions.
Every user must:
Users are responsible for actions performed through their accounts unless unauthorized access is proven and reported promptly.
ABNO is responsible for providing and supporting CBET Master in line with applicable agreements and platform arrangements.
ABNO may provide:
ABNO does not make official academic, assessment, certification or regulatory decisions on behalf of a QAB unless expressly authorized in writing.
For signed QABs, CBET Master Core may be provided under the collaboration framework at no setup, subscription or licence cost, subject to the signed MoU or applicable agreement.
Optional services may apply only where requested and agreed in writing.

Optional services are separate from CBET Master Core access.
EduBridge is a related platform that supports trainee ePOE, evidence readiness and assessment registration workflows where enabled.
Trainees may be redirected to EduBridge for:
EduBridge may have separate terms, subscription conditions, privacy notices and user rules.
Where EduBridge is integrated with CBET Master, data may flow between the two platforms for approved assessment and readiness purposes.
Where enabled, CBET Master may support certificate generation and verification.
The relevant QAB or institution remains responsible for confirming:
ABNO provides the platform capability but does not independently certify candidates unless expressly authorized by the relevant QAB or institution.
Certificate verification is intended to confirm authenticity of certificates generated or recorded through the platform.
Users must not misuse certificate verification for harassment, profiling, fraud or unauthorized personal data access.
CBET Master depends on data submitted by QABs, institutions and authorized users.
ABNO does not guarantee that all uploaded data is accurate, complete or up to date.
The relevant QAB or institution is responsible for verifying the accuracy of:
ABNO may assist with technical correction processes where authorized.
Use of CBET Master is subject to the CBET Master Privacy Policy.
Personal data may be processed for platform operation, assessment management, ePOE linkage, support, integration, reporting, certification, security and system administration purposes.
The QAB, QAI or institution generally acts as Data Controller for official candidate, trainee, staff, assessment and institutional data.
ABNO generally acts as Data Processor when processing such data on behalf of the QAB, QAI or institution.
For website enquiries, onboarding requests, support requests and direct business communications, ABNO may act as Data Controller.
Users must not upload personal data unless authorized to do so.
Users must keep confidential all non-public information accessed through CBET Master.
This includes:
Confidential information must not be disclosed to unauthorized persons.
Confidentiality obligations continue even after a user stops using CBET Master.
CBET Master, EduBridge, related software, workflows, architecture, interface designs, business logic, documentation, source code, product names, logos, graphics and platform materials belong to ABNO or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Users and QABs receive only the right to use the platform as authorized.
No user, QAB, institution or third party may:
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by ABNO.
Subject to applicable agreements, ABNO grants authorized users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access and use CBET Master for approved assessment and institutional purposes.
This right does not grant ownership of CBET Master or any underlying software, design, technology, workflow or intellectual property.
Access may be suspended or terminated where these Terms or applicable agreements are breached.
No QAB, institution or user may issue public announcements, press releases, marketing statements or public claims about CBET Master, EduBridge, ABNO or any collaboration without appropriate authorization where required by the applicable agreement.
Approved wording may include:
“CBET Master and EduBridge powered by ABNO Softwares International Ltd.”
Use of logos, screenshots, testimonials or public references may require prior written approval.
Support may be provided through approved channels, which may include:
Users should not submit support requests through unofficial personal channels where confidential data is involved.
Support availability, response times and service levels may depend on the applicable agreement, service arrangement or support category.
ABNO will take reasonable steps to keep CBET Master available, secure and functional.
However, access may occasionally be interrupted due to:
ABNO is not responsible for delays or interruptions caused by QAB data errors, user misuse, third-party platforms, institutional network failures or unauthorized changes by users.
CBET Master may integrate with EduBridge, ERPs, payment gateways, email services, SMS providers, WhatsApp providers or approved assessment systems.
Integrations depend on correct configuration, valid credentials, third-party availability and approved data flows.
ABNO is not responsible for failures caused by:
Integration failures should be reported through official support channels.
CBET Master Core charges, optional service charges, EduBridge subscription fees, communication charges, storage expansion charges or other costs shall be handled according to the applicable agreement, published schedule or written quotation.
Users must only make payments through approved payment channels.
ABNO is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized persons or unofficial accounts.
Where payment references are uploaded or submitted, users must provide accurate and lawful information.
ABNO or the relevant QAB may suspend or restrict access where:
Suspension may apply to a user account, feature, tenant, integration or support service depending on the issue.
Use of CBET Master may end where:
Upon termination, users must stop accessing the platform.
Confidentiality, data protection, intellectual property, accrued payment, audit, dispute resolution and transition obligations may continue after termination.
Where a QAB or institution stops using CBET Master, ABNO may support reasonable data export, transition or deletion subject to:
ABNO may retain limited records where required for legal, audit, compliance, security, backup or dispute resolution purposes.
CBET Master is provided to support digital assessment workflows, reporting, auditability, ePOE linkage and related operations.
ABNO does not guarantee that use of the platform alone will:
The platform works best when users provide accurate data, follow correct workflows and use appropriate internal controls.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABNO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from use of CBET Master.
This may include:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where liability arises under a signed agreement, the liability provisions in that agreement shall apply.
Users, QABs or institutions may be required to indemnify ABNO for losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising from:

ABNO may update, improve, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of CBET Master from time to time.
Changes may include:
ABNO will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption to active users.
ABNO may update these Terms to reflect changes in platform features, legal requirements, operational needs or business arrangements.
The updated Terms will be posted on the CBET Master website.
Continued use of CBET Master after updated Terms are published means the user accepts the updated Terms.
Material changes may be communicated through the website, portal notice, email or other official channels.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Kenya, unless a signed written agreement provides otherwise.
Any dispute should first be resolved through good-faith discussions between the affected parties.
Where a dispute involves a QAB, QAI or institution with a signed agreement, the dispute resolution process in that agreement shall apply.
Where no separate agreement applies, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration in Nairobi, Kenya, unless otherwise required by law.
Official notices to ABNO should be sent through the contact details provided below or any other official address communicated by ABNO.
Notices to QABs or institutions may be sent through the official contact details provided during onboarding or tenant setup.
Users are responsible for ensuring that contact details remain accurate and up to date.
